vintage - tearful

“Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts. I was better after I had cried, than before–more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle.”

What an interesting word to chose from out of the ‘T’s” Justine. I might have chosen ‘tantalising’.

    • April 23, 2014 at 12:55 PM

true, but i had a few naughty moments with my readers and thought i better get serious…hehe but tantalising is lovely, what quote would you have used?

Never one to hold tears back. Let ’em out and you’ll feel better in the end. 😀

Oh I am a real weeper…like a hose sometimes LOL

A good cry is sometimes the best antidote to what ails. That was a beautifully worded quote by C Dickens. Good choice, Justine!

Thank you, crying is therapeutic, if I have a quiet cry sometimes i do feel better, sometimes its just hormonal, sometimes for a valid reason other than my body lol

      • April 23, 2014 at 1:14 PM

Yes, the hormonal ones are crazy, but they really do work.

        • April 23, 2014 at 4:13 PM

haha yes….sheesh why did God decide on hormones right?

          • April 23, 2014 at 4:43 PM

No kidding!! Everything is so screwy – my husband is now shrinking in size and still eats like a horse, and I barely nibble and am expanding anyway. It’s all changing hormones!! No fair!!

Hi Justine. I’ve finally caught up with the challenge, and I have just posted my T. We had pretty much the same idea 🙂

If you made it through that fiasco – in the car – with the dog -and did not get a good cry in – you’re a much stronger woman than I! 😉

When babies are first born their tear ducts usually are not fully developed yet, so they don’t cry real tears. When I was born the doctor who delivered me was so surprise when I cried real tears upon coming into this world (hopefully they were tears of joy..lol). I’ve been a crier ever since. I’m always getting made fun of for crying at sad movies.
