Wordless Wednesday ~ The view!

The View

I felt a little nervous about this & yes I know it’s Wordless Wednesday & I am not meant to be talking.  But, but, yes I painted this watercolour whilst on my Devon holiday just a couple of weeks ago.  I used to love art but havn’t done anything really since being a teenager.  This was lovely, it took me a week doing little bits every day.

Anyway its out there now on the blogosphere to be critiqued..yikes…runs!

I would like to also thank those (you know who you are), who encouraged me to post my picture, huggles to all!

As always thank you for reading/viewing!

I love how brave you are. I have always wanted to learn how to paint. I am so lovingly in awe of anyone that can express themselves in the various art forms. It’s amazing 😉

Thanks, though I’d much prefer creating art on a canvas versus a plate. 🙂 Glad you rediscovered an old love on vaca!

JUSTINE – that is breathtakingly gorgeous!! The colors of the blues and the movements of the waves – the motion in this painting is so real. Give us more, please!!

You clearly have an eye and understanding of how to make the watercolors come to life on the paper. Truly it is a stunning piece. I hope you frame and hang it!

😀 I am thinking of framing it and giving it to my son as a reminder of his holiday as he loves Devon 🙂

Hi Justine – interesting piece of work .. gosh that would have fitted so well with the storms … perhaps a story idea of a village being swept up by the wind and waves to settle in another place … the colours are very interesting …

So pleased you’re getting back into art – enjoy that creativity … cheers Hilary

Thank you, yikes a storm, I see it in a peaceful setting, but thats what I love about art, it invokes different reactions from different people, I painted it whilst in Devon where the surfers are and there was sunshine, the waves were amazing 😀 Thank you so much for commenting, I need to set time aside for art, its so lovely x

Congratulations, this is a great piece. I love the delicacy of watercolor colors. This is like it’s flying away on a carpet of wind.
