We are now at Fiesta Friday #18, (go take a peek at Angies vegetarian dish), and guess what? I have been with Angie from the Novice Gardener right since the beginning, oh yes, it feels like a marriage and I have not been tempted to glance elsewhere seeking pastures that might but probably not be greener 🙂
She is a brave woman as she has asked me to co host this weeks party, oh yes, she must be completely mad too, I mean seriously I am quite obviously not one of these glorious cooks that so often puts in amazing entries. However I think I might be able to keep some entertained in the comments area (grins) and I have some crowd control put in to place for those of you who tend to get a bit rowdy and also some enticements for those of you who are a little shyer and need warming up!.
Though I may not really be a good I have one very important thing, almost more important! I appreciate food, not just visually but in my stomach, so yes bring the goods, bring some music, wine, some good clothes (or naked is good!), show off your fashionata skills, bring whatever you want, heck it is a party and yes that is right, you don’t HAVE to be a cook to come.
Mr Fitz is also hosting the party this week so he has to put up with me and my ramblngs. He seems to get all over the place Mr Fitz does if you look at his blog. Oh my he is off on some adventure here and there, showing off his glorious picture and foods, there’s a lot of hearty goodies to fill your tummy.
Mr Fitz is a real meaty man, as in cooks a lot of it! (run away piggies, I warn you!), he is especially in to sausages. If you want to find Mr Fitz you can go to his place here – Cooking with Mr Fitz – also I will point out that Mr Fitz is very good at crowd control and anyone getting a little hyper at the party! (throws Mr Fitz in there without his knowledge! hehe)
If you are new to Fiesta Friday, you can read the rules below to get you going….
If you need some help putting in those cool recipe tags to border your menu, insert a print button etc etc, there is some advice below…..
However you don’t have to do this. Just write up your post, link back to the relevant page of the Fiesta Friday, write in your tag section Fiesta Friday and insert your code in to the linky, need help just SHOUT OUT, someone will help you.
So what am I bringing to the party this week?
Pudding at Harrods
Some of you may remember I went to my corner shop before, yes Harrods. Hah it’s not actually my corner store, but I just like to pretend it is. You can see my prior Harrods adventure here – Harrods Adventure No 1
This time I hung mainly around the pudding section, urgh it was so yummy I had to take my hanky as I was dribbling on the counter which really is not the done thing. I always like to try and find something unusual, so I found Black Headed Gulls Eggs which are apparently pretty rare, low availability time span, ie 2-3 weeks and found mainly in marshes, see you learn something new every day, well I do!
Here are the Puddings at Harrods
Mine was, hehe!
I must say the pink cake looks glorious, the chocolate one with gold on was pretty wow just to look at from an artistic point of view. I loved the square cake with fruit in, it looked like it might explode, the Turkish section is always a must for me and the tiered chocolate cake, if honest I thought from a ‘looks’ point of view, rather ‘messy’ for Harrods. I won’t mention the pudding that looks like two huge chocolate boobs!
Keep the party going and chat away!
Thank you for reading/viewing! xx
