Bastets Pixelventures – Shadows!

Bastets Pixelventures – Shadows!

I was struggling oddly to find shadows and then today it all happened, I managed to have some fun with  my son and shadow play as we went on our way to school in East Sheen.

I would like to see if you saw what I did in these shadows?

Shadow Play

Shadow Play - scary hands

Shadow Play - Victorian Lady resting by a small fruit tree

I must admit the last is probably my favorite.  I had incidentally tied my shower mac around my waist and as a consequence when I stood by the tree it happened to me to make it look like I have on a bustle Victorian style of dress on, with my hair already up it seemed quite fitting, don’t you think?

The shadow that ended up making my foot look like a huge club foot made me laugh.

Which is your favorite?

Thank you for reading, Justine xx

awe thank you, it was fun to do. The distortions were surprising and spontaneous too, wasnt expecting it to look the way it did 😀

Barrel Body actually looks like a head to me. You can see the nose and chin on the left. You can see the hair cropped on the right. and it looks like it wearing some type of floppy hat. Even on the chin on the left there is a bit of chin fuzz from the coat.

Yes, I like seeing you as a prim and proper Victorian lady as we all know that fits your personality so well 🙂

Well, I’d say it was well worth the wait! You did a fantastic job and had fun too! I think I like the last one best as well, kind of a trip to the past effect! Each one though has it’s own good point and the photo of you with your son is so sweet!

The Victorian Lady is my favorite because it does seem like it must be a photo from another era. But the Big Foot is a close second. 🙂

Hhaha.. such fun photos! And that last one does look like a beautiful Victorian lady.. 🙂 I love taking pictures of shadows myself but mine never come out as fun as yours. Body proportions in our shadows seem to go for a toss! :/
