Macro Monday – sticky and curious!

Macro Monday – sticky and curious!

This was taken in East Sheen, London,  a few weeks ago when the weather was starting to get a little warmer.

Does anyone know what it is?

What does it look like to you?

Though it is not my usual pretty source of a Macro Monday I feel all of mother nature’s gifts deserve displaying, don’t you?

I hope you had a lovely weekend and have an even better week ahead.

No, I was being serious. I’d love to be able to identify it, but without any larger … um … context, such as leaves, etc., it’s virtually impossible. Sighh …

It really bugs me because I recognise it (I lived in London my whole life and I’m sure I’ve seen it before) but I have no idea what it is.

Well I just don’t know what to say here! This looks like a peanut in the shell. I grew up in the town where the plant for Planters Peanuts were manufactured. Your posts are always so darn cute! 😀
