Macro Monday – Why not give our leafy friends a chance?

Macro Monday – Why not give our leafy friends a chance?

I thought it was about time that our leafy friends got a look in.

We all love our colourful petals but how about the striking, sometimes waxy, sometimes shiny, sometimes rich colours and definitive shapes of our leaves?

I therefore present you with a couple of leaves taken in East Sheen, London.

But for those of you who can’t cope with just leaves I chuck you in a lemon, yes you got that right, a lemon!

What is the expression if you don’t like it suck on that?  Being a lemon.  I know what my face looks like when I have done that, now that would make a Macro Monday.

Waxy lemon

Waxy lemon

This fella has been sat at the Adrian Hall Garden Store for ages now, I have been tempted but with my green fingers history I am not convinced for me it would fruit again, what do you think?

Thank you as always for viewing, Justine x

Your photos are stunning. Are they taken with your DSLR? Don’t tell me that an iPhone makes such great photos! Or does it :-o?

Good idea to focus on those beautifully colourful leaves and such a refreshing looking lemon. I’ll have to have a focus on leaves day! 🙂
