Macro Monday damselfly or dragonfly?

Macro Monday damselfly or dragonfly?

Alright I confess I do not know whether this is a damselfly or dragonfly.

However one of you might?

I took this photo amongst many others when visiting the London Wetlands Centre recently.

I would say a dragonfly as the damselfly is more slender along the body including the wings.

I’ve never heard anyone speak of a damselfly so I looked it up. We call those dragonflies too. You know how Americans are 😛 lol

I accidentally liked this post. I mean, I guess the photos are nice, but insects? Eek! Please do post a warning before posting any bugs again!

My cats only pose when they’re asleep. Also, I waste an incredible amount of photos before I manage to catch them with my camera! It’s fun enough in summer, but now it’s getting a bit too cold to chase them outdoors with a camera. On the other hand, this winter I hope to make some shots of the black cat in the snow — it should be a nice contrast if she will be ready to pose 🙂

oh well now I thought you would have a filing system of everything 🙂 I bet you have thousands of photos. What is the best method of storing them, I find i cant make my mind up, filing by date, filing by activity, some are family ones etc but with nature in, urgh does my head in. Do you put them all on an external hard drive?

I store by date plus event. So for example, 2014_09_06 (Santa Cruz) is the folder name for my Santa Cruz vacation pics! This way it keeps everything in chronological order, but I also get the added bonus of seeing what the heck happened that day. 😀 And yes, I have an external hard drive!

i need to do the date thing, i write it wrongly and only realized recently that the computer puts them all in order if you do them the right way around, just goes to show one doesn’t always know the small things thatmake such a difference. I have just got an external hard drive so I need to make sure i am more organised in future hehe x I bet you have thousands!!!
