Weekly Photo Challenge: Twinkle & Photo101 Rehab

Twinkle

I just love a bit of Twinkle don’t you?

My eldest son gave me these elephants for my birthday this year.

He spent his own pocket money and found these down at an antique fair, I was so chuffed when he presented me with them.

Taken for:

Sheena at Not a Punk Rocker

(You might remember Sheena I threatened to photograph these for 101, you insisted I should have, so here you are πŸ˜€ Β )

I took this photo with my trusty iPhone 6.

I did the following with it:

Contrast on my phone app

Lightened 3 sections of the wall behind the elephants

Picmonkey to put the Bokeh effect on (thanks to Amy Sampson, Playing with my first DSLR cameraΒ for telling me about this πŸ˜‰Β )

Thank you as ever for viewing, does my twinkle, twinkle you?

Beautiful, I had no idea you could do all that with the iPhone. I need to read up and see what I can do with mine. Very cool indeed.

Oh really?! One of my friends loves elephants too. Her house is covered in them – ornaments, pictures, jigsaw puzzles, plant stands. They are beautiful creatures.

ah thats fun, i dont have quite that many. I do have some lovely wooden ones though from my step father that grace shelving as you walk in the house and i have a beautiful large rose quartz one except his trunk has been smashed a bit which is a shame x

Yes! Usually I find that I put it somewhere “safe” but never can remember where that place is.

Wow, Justine. These are gorgeous!!! And so sweet to hear they are a gift from your son’s jaunt to the antique fair. I love the raised trunks as if they are trumpeting a Christmas Carole.

hehe, I took him shopping from being young and then a couple of years ago we started antique and jumble sale shopping, i think he loves the bartering and then rummaging around and finding something. Both my sons however are totally obsessed with crystals, their knowledge on it is mind boggling x
