Teddy Black & White #1 Photo101 Rehab
I got nominated by the wonderful Lisa from Graydaysandcoffee who is a fab photographer and poet, so pop by her blog, say hello, have a cuppa and peruse all she has to offer, thank you Lisa 🙂
Meanwhile, here is Teddy, my two and a half year old French bulldog. He is a real sop.
He lost his best friend and companion a few months back, my pug, Splodge.
Since then has had to put up with us humans for company and two cats, only the ginger one paying him attention in the form of hiding under the laundry wrack and giving him a good whack every time he runs past, which Teddy thinks is great fun, he doesn’t realise it is abuse yet!
He also loves to lie like this, either to lure you in to giving him a tummy rub or when he knows he has to go in to his room and doesn’t want to. Being in this position makes it very hard for us to pick him up with his legs flailing all over the place.
Teddy also has a great upside down smile as you can see!
I always enjoy turning Teddy black and white, he suits this format. He reminds me rather of snoopy when I do this, yup I know he doesn’t look like him at all, but that’s just the way my mind works.
I am also entering this as part of my Photo101 Rehabilitation, I am not sure I will ever be cured from the loss of the WordPress Photography Challenge but it is easing it somewhat, here is some blurb all about it in the link below:
In the Photo101 Rehab we show a before and after. I took this photo with my iPhone and edited it in Lightroom playing with the blacks/whites, saturation and shadows and light, I think I got that right.
What is the Black and White challenge?
In order to fulfil this challenge one must post a B&W photograph for the next 5 days. On each of these days to also nominate another photographer to enter.
It’s a crazy hectic festive time, so anyone I might nominate, it is cool if you can’t do it, or with to defer until the New Year, I totally understand. Or indeed you might have been nominated before, these things are hard to keep up with especially in a tight knit band of photographic buddies. If you do however take the plunge, I shall be watching the Black & White space with anticipation and enthusiasm, thank you, have fun!!!
I would like to nominate the lovely Mara Eastern for the B&W Challenge, pop by her blog to be dazzled by her photography and wit!
What is your favourite thing about Black & White photography?
