I have an Elmer Fudd hat to wear here in Syracuse, but I save it for when it gets down to about 10 degrees F, Justine. Anywhere from freezing, 32 F and below, knit cap and gloves and winter jacket, always. Yesterday and today, though, we had a wonderful surprise of 50 degrees. So odd for the holidays. You look very bundled and prepared for your River Thames chill, my friend. Brrrrrr.

Haha yes and it sounds like I needed to borrow what you had too. Now I just did something I never do and looked at my spam file and it seems WP put nearly all your comments in there, no idea why, so I am workingm y way through replying to all your comments, so sorry you must have thought me so rude just not answering. I never look at the comments on the post page I go by my comments section otherwise I would have seen it I think or perhaps not if it was spammed. thats a point, how annoying, hopefully it wont happen anymore but feel free to give me a boot up the bottom if I go quiet again lol xx

Thank you…blushes…was a moment of madness in a selfie I normally hate them but thought I would show the background which in fact I did not get lol, of the River Thames and my phone capacity said to me it was full and wouldn’t take any more so that was that….then I saw the challenge warmth and thought hey ho a reason to post it! 😉 xxxx

Tha weather where I live gets really cold outside occasionally. I usually wear a light jacket. Sometimes it’s chillier in my home than outside. My remedy for that is a glass of wine to warm the insides and my electric throw while watching TV. Keep warm. Blessings.

oooh yes I have had that, wearing a jacket inside, then i put on the electric radiator and get used to too much heat and its goes in circles lol. I feel the cold terribly, whereas my children just walk around in T shirts, madness! I love ginger wine that really warms the cockles xx

Although it’s been mild so far this year, we have extremely cold winters here, so #1 furnace #2 warm socks or slippers #3 blankets, quilts, or afghans and #4 hot beverages!
