Weekly Photo Challenge: Serenity

Weekly Photo Challenge: Serenity

What is serenity to me?

Is it lying in a field full of lavender, inhaling it’s scent, drifting in to a slumbersome dream?

Is it the intoxicating smells of the English Rose & the velvety touch of it’s beautiful petals?

Is it seeing the variety of beauty that Mother Nature provides us, the moments where one gets taken in with the magnitude of her wonderment?

Is it that moment when you lie on the grass a dapple of sunshine warms your skin as it peeks through the trees and your eyes cast upon the fluffy clouds which seem to sweep all worries away?

Yes, for me it is lying on the grass and looking up to the skies, feeling the gentle hand of sunshine, the glorious greens as the rays shine through, the clouds that lure one’s eyes to roam and make magic stories.

It is at that point when one’s current existence seems no longer, but one takes on some etheral being, just for that minute, everything is pure joy!

The others touch close, but for me it is the sky, that moment!

I hope you enjoyed ‘my’ moment of serenity, Justine xx
