Weekly Photo Challenge: Rule of Thirds
I just had the most wonderful day. Selma, you will be jealous and yes we really need to arrange to go together.
Where did I go?
A gal can never go too many times to Harrods.
Of course I headed first to the room full of beautiful aromas and glassy eyed women groomed to perfection squirting strangers with smells from far flung places, the brightness of the room echoed by the many mirrors almost having some kind hypnotic effect.
I was not to be beaten though, my next course of action was the Food Hall once all necessities for beautifying had been bought!
The distractions of hams, cakes and all kinds of wraps and savoury surprises made in quite ingenious ways had me riveted. I shall post some piccies of such delights laters, but for now I would like to share with you a lovely man.
Yus you heard right, this lovely young man very kindly offered to pose for me. When he asked what it was for and me answering “One Third Challenge” he looked suitably perplexed. I then backtracked and told him I was a blogger, sometimes about food and photo challenges. His eyes lit up and he informed he was a blogger too!
He is however a blogger blogger, I took just a few minutes to tell him the benefits of swapping to WordPress and I think we might be seeing him the community sometime soon.
Meanwhile he agreed to pose and even before I bought my glace fruits, erm Pretat chocolates (yes Lucile I shall send you a couple), and a few various other bits and pieces, not excluding chocolate dipped strawberries from Godiva. If you want to see those, they will be appearing in the next day or so over on Artistic License of Life. 😀 Of course they are in my tummy now!
Meanwhile please say “Hello” to the lovely Harrods man.
I will admit that yes there was a little bit of more shopping in the form of some lovely vintage female nude old fashioned postcards and a scrummy Morrocan lunch with wonderful company.
For this week’s photo challenge, choose a subject, then intentionally re-compose your image to obey the Rule of Thirds.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, Justine xxx
