Chocolate, orange, nuts & banana, sweet oat porridge

I jizzed this recipe up by including orange. But it would have been just as good without. I have to say I absolutely adored this dish, I can eat for breakfast as a treat fit for a Queen, or Princess of course, or for a pudding, either way the kids gobbled it down and it is on the ‘more’ list. Chocolate, orange, nuts & banana, sweet oat porridge – as written by Sonal with my additions.
Serves – 2
Kitchen Equipments Required – Sauce pan, stirring spoon, chopping board n knife or food processor, 2 serving bowls.
Oats, quick cooking – 1/2 cup
Water – 2 cups
Milk – 1/2 cup
Coco powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1/4 tsp
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Chopped nuts – 2 tbsp. You may include walnuts, almonds, pistachios, sunflower seeds, chia seeds etc.
Brown sugar or Maple syrup – to taste
I added ground up hazelnuts & almonds
juice of one orange
brown sugar x 2 tbsps
maple syrup – as much to get the sweetness you want
