Weekly photo challenge: Enveloped

This weeks photo challenge word is Enveloped.

I looked up the meaning to give me some inspiration and to make sure I got it right, here it is:

1. To wrap, enclose, or cover: “Accompanying the darkness, a stillness envelops the city” (Curtis Wilkie).
2. To surround: The troops enveloped the town.

This photo was taken the Sunday just passed.  I worked at my first Shabbytique Fair, had my own stall an eclectic mix of vintage and handmade items were for purchase.  It was an unfortunately quiet day, however a few things still made for an enjoyable day, one being the other stall holders, there was a great sense of camaraderie there.  Networking and friendships blossomed.

The other delight was a jazz singer who was present throughout the day, his wife had a vintage clothes stall whilst he lulled people with his melodic tones.  His name is Steve Conway, I have included a clip of his singing below…  He had simply the most amazing voice, that enveloped all of those within the room and outside as families sat by the duck pond, ate cake and enjoyed the day!

So I am on to ventures new, creating a retail website, watch this space!  It’s exciting…Justine xx

I like the way you portrayed enveloped! I was also excited to hear that you had a stall at the fair. I realize how FAR behind I am in reading your and others blogs. I’m thinking you must be feeling a lot better to be able to do that. True?
