EclecticticOddsnSods.com is having a celebratory Fiesta!

This week I have been like a completely hyper-active child, almost jumping out and down with excitement.  I have been somewhat a little absent from WordPress, having been totally pre-occupied with starting up my online store.  Finally at last it has happened, it’s open, woohoo!

Eclecticoddsnsods.com

Eclecticoddsnsods.com

Due to many changes in my life it has precipitated discovering new things in my life, in the world, new hobbies, new enjoyments, a necessary change in career, a love of things I didn’t seem to notice before and finally my life streamlining in to one conclusion and that is embracing my Eclectic side.

It has taken months of scouring markets, getting up at the crack of dawn, of finding interesting wholesalers, perusing antique markets, learning how to make things myself and also my penchant was to find Artisans from less advantaged economic climates who I thought made things that you, might be interested in and also in turn allowing me to support them be it in some small way.

So as you can imagine the items come from all over the World, and closer to home, for me the UK!

The categories cover most areas, from accessories, homeware and even some children’s items and yes you Fiesta Friday cook entrenpreneurs here at Fiesta Friday #73, there is even some kitchenware!

You will find individually hand knotted crystal and semi precious stone necklaces from Bali, hand woven silk scarves from  villagers in Sri Lanka, rustic picture frames, woven baskets and much more from Africa.  There is an eclectic variety of vintage items from all over and so much more, the list goes on, but I won’t bore you with a list, why not go and take a look yourself?

Here are some of the really SUMMER FRESH ITEMS

I would love some feedback and if something does happen to catch your eye and you don’t live in the UK, then e-mail me what you like/where you are from and I can work out a postage rate.  Currently the store is set for shipping to the UK only, but I am happy to ship elsewhere.  My e-mail is:  eclecticoddsnsods@gmail.com

If your’e not in a position to buy anything now, feel free to just peruse, join my newsletter for info on any upcoming new items, I promise I won’t spam you! 😀

I would love of course your support in this long awaited venture, please spread the love and spread the word.  If you have any suggestions and or comments my ears are open whilst I sup on my celebratory glass of champers!

You will find a badge, at the moment this one on the side of my blog if you ever get the shopping bug whilst reading blogs 😀

Yes as a matter of fact, ceramics, love the rice bowls, I also love the silk scarves or throws, the colors are vibrant and beautiful. The sock monkeys are also adorable. Wish you shipped to the US, would have snagged a few things today. You should open a pop up on Etsy.

Oh i do shop to the U.S. I just can’t do the postage rates as general on the website 🙂 (it’s a template thing at mo) but if you let me know what your interested in I can pre let you know what the postage might be. You can mail me if you want inc your address (then can work out postage)

          eclecticoddsnsods@gmail.com

Ps great taste. The monkeys have photos of the youth that made them, the silk wraps are by female villagers in Sri Lanka and the bowls from Artisans in Africa 😀😀

I am truly impressed with what you have done with your life and now this online store. I have already checked out a few categories and will go back and look at the others. I subscribed to your newsletter as I love looking and shopping where you get one of a kind or anything that is different, but special. It’s good to know that you will ship to the US – I have shopped at Emma Bridgewater (UK) and have received a number of items from that company. Happy Fiesta Friday Justine and thanks so much for sharing this exciting new part of your life 🙂

Awe thank you so much, I really appreciate you popping by. It’s taken me ages to set up but I’ve really enjoyed finding things. I have a whole selection of vintage jewellery still to go on, I left that until last as the photography a bit more tricky but it should be there in the next week or so 🙂 1920’s/30’s era x

Congratulations!! OMG, what an exciting new venture for you!! I’m excited for you and wish you only the greatest joy and accomplishment! I hope you’ll make a lot of money, hehe… That would be awesome! The crate and the planters caught my eye, but shipping to US would cost an arm and a leg, I would think 😀 😀

Thank you sweetie your words made me smile. Actually I just quoted for a possible order to the U.S. And it wasn’t half as bad as I thought it might be. So if you are interested in something just mail me exactly what and I can quote for postage and go from there 😀😀😀
