Blackberry Series #3 – Blackberry smoothies & icicle pops

Blackberry Series #3 – Blackberry smoothies & icicle pops

Alright, this is a real easy peasy way to make smoothies and popsicles, almost so easy I feel a bit of a fake writing this post in the first place, but the last (I think) in the Blackberry series will be next week, the grand finale being the ice-cream which was a wow!

Visual Evidence of the oh so good smoothies!

How to make!

I use my Nutribullet filling the container 3/4 with your desired milk.  Then add a great bit dollop of vanilla ice-cream.  Of course a healthy cup of blackberries, a teaspoon of vanilla paste and if you are feeling very naughty some honey, but that is only for the sweet toothed party goers present.  Mix up!  Bingo, job done and very happy children fighting over who has the largest smoothie.

Visual Evidence of the icicles!

Then we freeze the rest to make them in to icicles 😀  This was actually made in two batches because of course there was no smoothie left.  As you see in the last photo, my ginger boy has surveyed my youngest greedily tucking in to TWO icicles and giving me the ‘really?’ look, don’t you think?
