80 Calorie Dairy Free Chia, Oat, Date And Oat Milk Fit As A Fiddle Smoothie

This smoothie really does taste indulgent, yet it is only 80 calories, go figure?  The perfect combination right?  😀

This is so quick to make or if short on time, make the night before, it still tastes great.

80 Calorie Dairy Free Chia, Oat, Date And Oat Milk Fit As A Fiddle Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 250ml almond milk
  • 2 tbsp. gluten-free rolled oats
  • 2-3 pitted Medjool dates, to taste
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 4-5 ice cubes

METHOD

In a high-speed blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

dates – a good source of various vitamins and minerals. Its a good source of energy, sugar and fiber. Essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc are found in dates. It also contains vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K

chia seeds – Despite their tiny size, chia seeds are among the most nutritious foods on the planet. They are loaded with fiber, protein, Omega-3 fatty acids and various micronutrients.

almond butter –
