Paleo Inside Out Bread
I cooked something like this before, ie a bread with ham and olives, but it wasn’t paleo, so I was very curious to see what this would come out like as the previous one was a great success.
The recipe for this I found in, yes you got it right….I Quit Sugar For Life by Sarah Wilson, which you can find here:- I Quit Sugar For Life
Most of the ingredients were easy to find except for Arrowroot which got many people baffled in multiple supermarkets, even some specialist food shops, yep it took some while to find it and a little frustration. I ended up finding it in Wholefoods in powdered format. My suggestion is that it would be useful to have some kind of descriptions on ingredients hard to find so you know roughly what you are looking for, I was looking for an actual root, silly me.
The result was, once I found what I needed, the cooking was easy peasy and woohooo it was a total hit! Everyone loved it and it was tested on plenty of mouths. My teenager who is the fussiest eater now and never eats breakfast has asked for me to make this again for his morning meal.
The ingredient list to give you an idea is as follows:
- Almond meal
- sea salt
- bicarbonate of soda
- apple cider vinegar
- finaly chopped flat leaf parsley
- pitted olives
- grated courgettes
- diced ham
- finely grated parmean cheese
- pumpkin seeds
The entire recipe you can find in the book, it’s not expensive and no I havn’t been paid to promote it 🙂
As always this is a contribution towards the foodie friday party, Fiesta Friday.
Archie the pug chef took a sniff at this and though he eats everything he was slightly distracted by the Slow Cooked Barbeque Pork which will soon be revealed.
I hope you are due to have a lovely weekend? Justine xx
