An Electrical Garden

An Electrical Garden

This week’s Daily Posts Challenge is:Transmogrify – apparently this means “To change in appearance or form, especially strangely or grotesquely; transform.”  I decided not to go for grostesque but electrifying!  I had contemplated the transformation of my pug Archie, who is nearly a year old, but got side tracked by my experience at Kew Gardens last Christmas where they morphed their gardens in to an electrical bonanza, it was truly amazing.  Plants that lit up everywhere and their orchid house transformed every few minutes in to a different colour or with different shapes on, it was quite awesome.  Hopefully the photographs will give you a little glimpse of pleasure in to this.

There were electric peacocks strewn through the gardens amongst the fairytale like plants.

The detail of the lit up plants were just awesome, the time to create them I just cannot begin to imagine.

Plenty of colour

Look at the detail, it’s pretty clever isn’t it?

Snowdrops like I thought I would never see.

The Orchid House now a lit up bonanza.  The combination of spiralling coloured lights and water jets was wow!

Fairytale lights, the structure almost disappears, quite amazing.

I hope you enjoyed this photographic piece of my memorabilia.  Which was your favorite photo and why?  Have you seen anything similar?  If so and you’ve blogged it please throw me the link so I can take a look, thank you.   Justine xx
